Breast ironing

Breast ironing (or Breast Flattening),is the pounding & massaging of a pubescent girl's breasts, using hard or heated objects, to try stop them from developing. Usually done by the girl's mom to protect her from sex harassment, rape or to prevent early pregnancy or to allow the girl to prevent pursue her education. It's practiced in Cameroon where men believe girls with breasts are sexually mature. Pestles are most common but heated stones,hammers and kitchen utensils are also used.
